πŸ‘‰πŸ»Our guest is Dr. Rodrigo Scattone Silva, PT, Ph.D. Rodrigo specializes in Sports Physical Therapy and is an Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN, Brazil), where he lectures undergraduate and graduate-level courses. He also supervises Master’s Degree and Ph.D. students at UFRN, where he leads the Brazilian Tendinopathy and Sports Injuries Research Group. Dr. Scattone Silva earned his PhD in Physical Therapy from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar, Brazil) having conducted part of his PhD studies at the Australian Institute of Sport (Canberra, Australia) under the supervision of Prof. Craig Purdam. He was also a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Physical Therapy of the University of Delaware (Newark, USA) under the supervision of Prof. Karin Silbernagel. The main focus of his research is the prevention and rehabilitation of Patellar and Achilles Tendon disorders.
